  • Britian's Got Talent Preview: Simon & David's "Funkasize" Workout!

David Walliams is on top form in tonight's fun packed edition of Britain's Got Talent as he forces a reluctant Simon to join in with a "Funkasize" routine!

Contestant "DJ Sexy Scott" gets the audience going when he auditions for BGT - and Ant and Dec get involved in the action too.

The 29 year entertainer and fitness instructor from London shows off his funkasize routine to his own version of Nicki Minaj's Starships.

Ant and Dec are quick to join Scott Whitley on stage as he throws some sexy moves!

No strangers to a complex dance routine, the boys are wowed by Scott's act - "Amazing!," says Dec at the end of the routine. "That's like the complete workout." adds Ant.

Amanda, Alesha and David also join in the routine with the crowd on their feet behind them. Strangely, Simon seems unmoved by the feisty workout moves, despite a galliant effort by David to stir him into the Funkasize Zone!

Undeterred, David cheekily reports: “Me and Simon have been funkasizing for many years,"

"You (to Simon) said to me ‘when are we going to get funkasize known by the nation’ and this is our chance today. It’s a great big funkasize yes.”

Simon does a classic "Cowell Eyeroll" stays firmly in his seat and simply says,"Bonkers!"

Other highlights in tonight's episode include another act where Ant and Dec again find themselves on stage - this time when a sword swallower, El Lurchio, pulls them along on a trolley.

The trolley is pulled by chains attached to the edge of the sword which is in 29 year old El Lurchio's mouth. Ouch!

“It’s like watching a horror film isn’t it? You carry on watching because you like being terrified,” says Amanda.

Don't miss all the action TONIGHT ITV1 7.15pm followed by Britain's Got More Talent over on ITV2 at 8.15pm.

  • Britain's Got Talent Preview! Simon Compares A Drag Act To The Spice Girls - And Threatens To Sack David!

On this weekend's jam packed edition of Britain's Got Talent a drag act called Bosom Buddies take to the stage for a chance to impress the judges.

Teacher Mark (48), known as Bernie, and building yard worker Stuart (29), known as Brenda, both from Manchester, sing La Vie en Rose by Edith Piaf.

Simon didn't seem overly impressed with the duo, however he DID think they might have a career as a Spice Girls Tribute Act!

“It’s like Geri Halliwell and Victoria Beckham separating away from the Spice Girls and doing a duet," says Simon at the end of their act.

    "Only better looking," responds Mark.

"And better singers," adds Simon "But there is a resemblance, particularly you" he says, pointing to Stuart.

Seemingly unable to stifle his giggles over the surprising act Simon, does his best to get to grips with the important business of judging them! "I’m still struggling a little bit with this,” he reveals before giving his verdict...!

Find out if Ginger and Posh - oops, we mean Brenda & Bernie make it through on tomorrow's Britian's Got Talent - ITV1 7.15pm.

Don't forget the Got Talent fun continues after the main show when Stephen Mulhern takes over ITV2 for his hilarious hit show, Britain's Got More Talent.

On this weeks episode, David Walliams, who is obviously desperately hoping he will be Simon's Caribbean holiday companion this year, attempts a tropical limbo dance! It's the David versus Goliath challenge, limbo style where David has to reach a new low to win and claim victory!

David is confident, joking with Stephen Mulhern: “Do we get extra points if we add in our own choreography? Because I was a teenage champion limbo-er.”

This doesn't seem too hard to believe!

However, David may not be quite so chirpy when he finds out Simon would have no qualms about sacking him! Stephen grills on Simon which judge he’d get rid of its bad news for David:

Stephen: “If you had to let one of the judges go which one would it be?”

Simon: “Well it would have to be David because he was the last to join us.”

David: “Fair enough, I’ve got other stuff to be getting on with.” - we are pretty sure he said this whilst crying into a hanky and grabbing Simon's ankles!

The fun continues at the Glasgow auditions where Stephen asks Simon about all things Scottish:

Stephen: “Last year you were 25% Scottish, have you increased?”

    Simon: “I’m 50%.”

Stephen: “Bagpipes - love or hate?”

Simon: “Actually I like them. I love Amazing Grace on bagpipes. I genuinely do.”

Stephen failed to ask Simon, if he wore a kilt, what would he wear underneath - but according to Amanda Holden, we may already know this, as she revealed Simon "goes commando" under his jeans!

Britain's Got More Talent airs on ITV2 at 8.15pm straight after the main show.

  • Is Cheryl Cole Returning To The X Factor USA?

Accordning to "Star Magazine" this week, Simon Cowell is working on persuading Cheryl Cole to return to The X Factor - two years after she was fired from the show.

Simon believes their chemistry is just what the show needs for its third series and has reportedly been holding "secret meetings" to convince the pop princess to take a seat back on panel.

A source told the mag: “Simon would love to work with Cheryl again. He knows they were a winning combination. It’s the third series and he needs it to work.”

“Cheryl is concentrating on her music and, as much as she loved her time on the X Factor, she’s not sure if she wants to go back.

“But Simon keeps reminding her that Nicole [Scherzinger] turned it around and so can she.”

The news comes as insiders have claimed that Cheryl is torn over moving to the US in a bid to keep her relationship with boyfriend Tre Holloway afloat.

According to Closer magazine, a source close to the singer has revealed that Cheryl doesn’t want to lose dancer Tre whose career is based predominantly across the pond.

They explained: “Her family have suggested she persuade Tre to move to the UK full time, but he’s made it clear his career is in the US.

"Cheryl understands her family are making these suggestions out of love – but she’s determined she won’t risk losing Tre for anyone.”

The source added: “Cheryl gets homesick – even on holidays. She had always said, while she loves LA and wanted to make her mark there, she’d never leave the UK as it is her home.

“She’s now nervous about making a permanent move and has asked her mum to emigrate with her if she leaves – but Joan’s happy in the UK.

“She’s told Joan that she knows she’s worried, but says she won’t sacrifice her relationship with Tre.”

Season 3 of The X Factor USA starts filming shortly and will see two new judges on the panel after Britney Spears and LA Reid left the show.

Demi Lovato has already been confirmed to rejoin Simon for the thrid season and there have been rumours that Neyo, Katy Perry, Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Lady Gaga have all been in talks to become udges

Who would you like to see on the panel? Should Cheryl be given a second chance or would you prefer a fresh face?

  • Mario Lopez To Return As X Factor USA Host - But Khloe Kardashian Is OUT

Khloe Kardashian’s days as co-host of “The X Factor” are officially over.

As had been rumored, the reality star will not return for the upcoming third season of the Fox reality series, the network announced on Monday.

“Khloe Kardashian will not be returning to host The X Factor,” a spokesperson for the show told Access Hollywood on Monday. “We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”

Backstage after the Season 2 finale, Khloe xpressed her desire to return for another season.

“Of course I do. Who wouldn’t?” she said at the time. “It’s a party!”

While Khloe is out, Fox announced Mario Lopez will return for Season 3. As far as plans to replace Khloe, all of that remains undecided at this time. Mario said:

“I’m looking forward to returning to THE X FACTOR team,” said Lopez. “We’re coming back stronger and better than ever and I'm excited to check out all the new talent.”

“I’m thrilled Mario is back for Season Three of THE X FACTOR,” said Simon Cowell. “Hosting a live show and keeping the judges – especially Demi – in line, is not an easy job, but Mario is a pro and we are glad he’s coming back.”

“No decisions have been made on replacements, but everyone on the show loved working with Khloe. It was clear Simon and Khloe had fun on the show together,” the spokesperson added.

Open auditions for Season Three of THE X FACTOR continue in Long Island, NY, at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on April 25; and in Denver, CO, at the Denver Coliseum on May 14. For details, please visit www.TheXFactorUSA.com.

  • Simon Cowell To Make Animated Feature Film - Plus X Factor UK News - Is Sharon Back?

It's no secret that Simon Cowell is a big fan of cartoons! He has often revealed he likes to lay in his bath watching episodes of The Flintstones or The Jetsons. Now he is taking his passion for animation one step further as The Daily Star on Sunday reports Simon is set to make an animated feature film.

The paper reveals he has just sold a full-length animated feature film, which he’s been working on for the last ten years.

Not only is it Simon's very own concept but he is planning to make his own childhood dream come true by casting himself in a cameo role.

Although the script is a secret, Simon did confirm the project, saying: “I have an animation movie I have just sold.

It’s my concept. It’s an idea I had ten years ago and the first studio I’ve gone to wants it.

“Making an animation is something I’ve always, always, wanted to do because I love cartoons.

“We only did the deal a few weeks ago so I’m not allowed to say any more.”

He said it was too early to talk about casting for the film, which he hopes to have in cinemas by Christmas 2014.

But sources close to Simon said: “He wants to feature in some way. He also wants the biggest Hollywood A-listers to do the voiceovers. Don’t be surprised if one or two familiar faces from his reality shows appear, too.”

Cowell added: “I am definitely looking to make more movies. We’ve already started with the Paul Potts film and the One Direction movie but expect more.”

Simon has appeared in cartoon form before - featuring in a special "Far, Far Away Idol" segment on the Shrek 2 DVD and has also popped up on The Simpsons in several episodes over the years.

Sources report that Sharon Osbourne is set to make a sensational return to British screens this summer for the 10th series of The X Factor.

Sharon will allegedly net £2 million in a deal that will see her returning as a judge on the singing competition, becoming the show's highest-earning judge ever in the process.

The deal will see the 60-year-old returning to the show for the first time as a full-time judge after leaving after the fourth series in 2007.

Simon Cowell is said to be desperate to have Mrs O back on the show to help boost ratings, which have been in decline for the last few years.

'Sharon will be an X Factor judge and it is only a matter of days before the deal is finalised,' a source told the Sunday People.

'She is being paid a hefty sum of £2million as Cowell is desperate to have her on the show... There is no way she would turn down such a well-paid job.'

In more X Factor UK news, The Daily Star on Sunday also reports that Simon is planning a dramatic twist - by flying out all Boot Camp hopefuls to his LA mansion.

Sources say Simon has told producers to spend as much as they need to make his return the most dramatic ever.

Our insider said: “Fans want to see some drastic changes and that’s exactly what they’re going to get. Simon wants to make headlines when he returns so he can keep a firm grip on the viewing figures.

“He knows he is the golden ticket and producers know that what Simon says goes.”

Boot camp numbers will be lower than in previous years as wannabes will have to survive two auditions to get through – down from around 400 to roughly 150.

Simon said recently: “There are going to be some changes that will give the viewers what they want.”
